Important Road Closure Notice: Blue Jays Home Opener

Road Closure around Rogers Centre, including Bremner Boulevard, Blue Jays Way and Navy Warf Court

Restrictions will begin at 5:00 p.m. and remain in effect until the conclusion of the game.The Toronto Blue Jays will be commencing the 2022 regular baseball season at the Rogers Centre today, April 8, 2022, with a 7:07 p.m. first pitch.

A number of road restrictions and closures will be in effect for home games. There will be pre-game and post-game restrictions on the roadways surrounding the Rogers Centre. These restrictions will commence two hours prior to game time, and will remain in effect until the conclusion of the game.

The condos in the area, as well as businesses, will have access during closures in an effort to alleviate any disruption to attending work or home. Residents and employees may have to provide proof of address with identification or by speaking with the police officer at a traffic point.

Residents of the Navy Warf Court and Blue Jays Way areas can access this area from Spadina Avenue during these closures/restrictions.

Drop-off and pick-up for attendees will be directed to Front Street as there will be no staging of vehicles along Bremner Boulevard, Blue Jays Way and Navy Warf Court for post-game.

Accessibility Access for the Rogers Centre will be as follows:

Gate 7: For those attending the Rogers Centre, Rees Street, northbound from Lake Shore Boulevard West will be used for accessibility vehicles and other mobility-accessible services. A staging area for those using accessibility services will be set up on Rees Street at Bremner Boulevard, for Gate 7 access.
Gate 13: A similar area will be established on Blue Jays Way in front of the Marriott Hotel, for those entering through Gate 13.
