Registration for CaféTO is now open
Restaurants and bar operators can now apply for a permanent sidewalk café permit or register for a curb lane café. The deadline to register for a curb lane café is Saturday, April 2 at 11:59 p.m. All application, transfer and permit fees are waived for 2022.

All participants are encouraged to apply early as incomplete or invalid documents may result in missing the deadline. Operators that apply after the April 2 registration deadline may not receive their preferred café space. In some cases, a café installation for a late applicant may not be possible.

Details about CaféTO, including informative guidebooks about sidewalk and curb lane cafés, patios on private property and the application process are available at toronto.ca/CafeTO.
