Air Canada Centre, Maple Leaf Square, Rogers Centre Traffic Restrictions Wednesday, April 25th, 2018

The Toronto Police Service, 52 Division, would like to make the public aware of traffic restrictions and security enhancements for Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Air Canada Centre and the Rogers Centre.

To ensure the safe flow of pedestrian traffic, a number of road restrictions will be in effect in the immediate area surrounding the Air Canada Centre:

  • Maple Leaf Square/Jurassic Park will be restricted to residents, hotel guests and employees of area buildings. Access will be permitted with issued parking passes
  •  accessibility vehicles wanting access to the Air Canada Centre should use Bay Street Gate 2
To ensure the safe flow of pedestrian traffic, a number of road restrictions will be in effect in the immediate area surrounding the Rogers Centre:
  • controlled access in the immediate area
  • accessibility vehicles wanting access to the Rogers Centre should use Rees Street, northbound from Lake Shore Boulevard West, with staging areas at Rees Street and Bremner Boulevard at Gate 7 and Blue Jays Way in front of the Marriott Hotel for Gate 13
Police, in partnership with Air Canada Centre and the Rogers Centre, are encouraging people to use public transit or other carpool options. The public may also notice other security measures in the surrounding area, including an increased police presence and/or the use of other public and private sector resources. While there is no imminent threat at this time, security issues are closely monitored and changes will be implemented as required.
