The King-Spadina HCD was approved unanimously at TO East York Community Council September 6, 2017.
There were a number of speakers with compelling arguments requesting item to be deferred for further consultation and study, as well as the need to have this study in lock-step with the Secondary Plan not out ahead of it.
Councillor Cressy stressed to the members of TOEYCC that this is an “urgent” matter, which has taken 5 years and needs to be approved now. Councillor Cressy also indicated that the concerns of the speakers will be addressed in the report that will come out prior to Council (Sept. or Oct).
The BIA will continue to work with Allied Properties, ERA, Aird Berlis and property owners to provide you with recommendations for your appeal.
