Don’t miss out! Canada’s 150th Anniversary is set to be a legendary celebration and we’ve gathered a great lineup of events to celebrate Canada Day in Style. Keep reading for how you can spend an epic Canada Day in the Toronto Entertainment District.

CN Tower
This Canadian landmark is at the top of our list. At 10:30pm join a huge crowd in the Toronto Entertainment District’s Maple Leaf Square to watch this stunning show. Fireworks coupled with a light show will make for an awe-inspiring night. Not a fan of crowds? Try watching the show from a secluded balcony or rooftop bar in the Toronto Entertainment District.  Or you can visit Roundhouse Park or Olympic Park for a more intimate take on the view for Canada 150.

Ripley’s Aquarium
Make a ‘splash’ at Ripley’s Aquarium! The attraction has been putting on well received and fun themed parties for their Splash series. Sip on caesar’s, mingle among the fish and dance to Canadian tunes at this pre-150th event.

TIFF
Celebrate Canadian Cinema at this free year-long TIFF film event. ‘Canada on Screen’ is an opportunity to explore and appreciate Canadian film like never before. You won’t want to miss the special guests, installations and amazing events. Here’s your chance to join TIFF and its partners to remember Canadian Film for Canada’s 150th.

Toronto Symphony Orchestra
Watch the Toronto Symphony Orchestra make history with this cross-country body of work. Over 40 orchestras in Canada will partner together to perform 2-minute “Sesquies” for Canada Mosaic. Learn more below:

Delta Toronto SOCO Kitchen + Bar
On July 1st, SOCO Kitchen + Bar will be open all day for Canada Day festivities. On the go? Guests can enjoy delicious hot dogs and treats on the street to enjoy at Roundhouse Park. For $150 per couple (inclusive of taxes), you can view the fireworks from their patio while enjoying a live DJ and an exclusive cocktail reception at 9pm.

Toronto Blue Jays
What better way to ring Canada 150 than cheering on its most popular baseball team? Grab a hot dog and rock red white and blue to this special 2-day event. At 9am dance to some pre-game entertainment and catch the first pitch at 1:07pm. Get tickets here.

150 Pointes of Canada
Celebrate on ‘pointe’ with the National Ballet of Canada. Coupled with the National Ballet’s 65th anniversary, you can celebrate with this creative initiative. Participants can show off Canada’s landmarks by photographing a pair of pointe shoes with them. Each image will be added to an interactive map for everyone to see!

Steam Whistle
Cheers! A go-to for events in the Toronto Entertainment District, Steam Whistle Brewery is putting on an unforgettable day and night. In partnership with the Hudson’s Bay Company, this all-day event will be filled with Canadian classics. Snack on delicious poutine while watching the Second Annual “Maple Glazed Bacon Donut” eating challenge. Try some new dance moves to DJ Paul Lee’s set while sipping on a cold one.
